FALL SERIES AT SAT NAM YOGA

Thanks to everyone who made it out bright and early today, to the Open House at Sat Nam Yoga Studio!  
On October 15th Tuesday, I will start a Fall Series at Sat Nam Yoga.

FIRE QI-WATER QI
 FALL SERIES


Fire Qi represents the warmth we receive from the food we eat, and the air we breathe.  Also known as Post Birth Qi, it is associated with emotions.  Too much fire can cause scattered emotions and confuse the mind.

Water Qi represents what we inherit from our parents before we are born.  Also known as Pre Birth Qi, it cools the Fire Qi so the mind will become clear, centered, and calm.  It is the wisdom part of the body.  

When Fire Qi and Water Qi mix, mind, body, and soul are nourished and balanced.  

All levels welcome!  A 6 week series that will reintroduce yourself to your body and mind through gentle yet profound moving meditations.  Learn how to balance the Right and Left sides of the body, promote healthy heart function, strengthen and cleanse the lungs, bolster the kidneys, increase immune response, improve digestion, and enhance overall connection between you and the earth. 

Each class will start with the Microcosmic Breath and General Cleanse, followed by a combination of each exercise to develop the internal Qi, or life-force energy.  You will leave the class feeling restored, spirited, a sense of feeling "full" with Qi, and an understanding of mind body awareness to ultimately pave the way to health and longevity!

Series will include these exercises:
-Microcosmic Breath
-General Cleanse
-Lungs
-Heart
-Kidneys
-Immune defense
-Swai Shou
